EPLA Welcomes New App + Parent and Community Engagement Center

The El Paso Leadership Academy (EPLA) is always finding new ways to ensure streamlined communication with our parents to support their scholars progress. That said, EPLA is pleased to announce a new comprehensive “one-stop-shop” online tool Schoolrunner. Schoolrunner can be accessed 24/7 via EPLA’s mobile app, allowing parents and scholars to see grades, assignments, CRSHH bucks, and behavior information.

Additionally, EPLA prides itself as a community-based charter school, and we are pleased to announce that we now we have an official space dedicated to our parents and community on campus!

The room is located down the main corridor of our school, and features computers with free Wi-Fi, complimentary refreshments and snacks, and of course, important information for our parents.

EPLA is a small, safe and bully-free school with an enrollment averaging 200 students. Small class sizes support focused, guided instruction and a sense of community among students. In the 2017-2018 school year, the average student was able to achieve two to four years of growth in their math and reading levels. These advances support EPLA’s mission as a college preparatory middle school to ensure their graduates are ready for high school and beyond.
